Redemption of gift and POPPoints can only be done over Customer Service Counter by the member personally. If the receipt has been submitted via U-POPP Mobile App for POPPoints accumulation, it will not be eligible for any promotion gift.

Transactions with nett purchase value of at least S$10 (after deduction of any discounts) in a single receipt in-store at any Participating Merchant save that the following shall not qualify as “Eligible Transactions”:

a. Sale of tobacco products;

b. Cash cards and stored value cards top-up transactions;

c. Purchase of gift vouchers;

d. Online purchases and bill payments (including purchases and transactions made via AXS and SAM stations); and

e. Any other product which we may, from time to time, specify at our unfettered discretion.

 

With effect from 1 Jan 2022, POPPoints will be awarded based on receipt(s) from the initial purchase of any 'packaged' items or services from Participating Merchants. POPPoints will not be awarded based on receipts from subsequent usage of the package and balance payment of the initial purchase.

All Participating Merchants with original printed receipts or tax invoices within the Participating Malls qualify for POPPoints accumulation, except for the following: 

a. Money exchangers, bank and ATM;

b. Merchants operating at atrium roadshows and/or as pop-up stores, kiosks or pushcarts;

c. Any other merchant which we may, from time to time, specify at our unfettered discretion.

Please also note the types of transactions that qualify as “Eligible Transactions”.

For any staff/promoter, you are not allowed to use your store’s receipt to accumulate POPPoints, redeem promotion gift and / or UOL e-Voucher.

Should any staff/promoter be found using receipts from the store to accumulate POPPoints and redeem UOL e-Voucher or Retailer e-Voucher, we reserve the right to void -

For every S$1 spent, members will be entitled to 1 POPPoint.

Receipts submitted by a member at a Customer Service Counter will have the POPPoints credited instantly to his/her U-POPP Membership.

For receipts submitted via U-POPP Mobile App, the POPPoints will be credited within five working days.

Members can click on the “Forgot Password” link for a reset password instruction email to be sent across to the registered email address.

Members who do not have a registered email address will have to proceed to any Customer Service Counter to update their email address to receive reset password instructions.

For instance, if a recipient has received 1 x S$50 UOL E-Voucher, he / she is required to spend the S$50 UOL E-Voucher in a single transaction. 

There shall be no refunds from the Participating Merchant if the value of the UOL e-Voucher(s) tendered exceeds the payment required for the goods and services. 

In the case where the UOL E-Voucher(s) is / are tendered as part payment for goods and services which exceed the value of the UOL E-Voucher(s) tendered, the recipient is required to top up the difference with cash or other payment methods as accepted by the Participating Merchant.

 

Yes, the recipient may do so. The new recipient may use the UOL E-Voucher(s) provided that the UOL E-Voucher(s) has/have not been used by the original recipient.

We are unable to recall the UOL E-Voucher once the email has been sent. Therefore, please ensure that the email address of the recipient is accurate before clicking on the confirm button.

There shall be no reimbursement or refund of any amount to the purchaser of the UOL E-Voucher should the UOL E-Voucher be used by an unintended recipient as a result of a wrong email address entered.

Recipient(s) that are gifted UOL E-Vouchers via email, please follow the steps below to redeem: 

1) A recipient may open the email containing the unique link

2) Tap on the unique link and select “Use Now”. The Participating Merchant is required to present a unique QR Code for the recipient to scan and to use the UOL E-Voucher(s).

Yes, you can. To gift your purchased UOL E-Voucher(s), please follow the steps below to purchase: 

1) Tap on the purchased UOL E-Voucher(s) under “MY E-VOUCHERS” and select “GIFT A FRIEND”. 

2) You may select only 1 UOL E-Voucher at each time. 

3) Key in the email address of the recipient and ensure that the email address entered is correct before tapping on the confirm button. 

4) The recipient will receive an email and can use the UOL E-Voucher via the unique link in the email. 

 

All purchased UOL E-Voucher(s) will have a validity period of 12 months from the date of purchase and no extension is allowed. Upon expiry of the validity period, unused stored value in the UOL E-Voucher(s) shall automatically become invalid without compensation. 

For UOL e-Voucher(s) purchased via the U-POPP Mobile App, you may key in your email address for an Official Receipt to be sent to your mailbox after a successful purchase.

After redemption or activation of gift card, e-Voucher can be found in the member’s account under 'My e-Vouchers' on the U-POPP Mobile App.  Members will need to inform participating retailer before utilising the voucher. Once member click to utilise the e-Voucher, member will be prompted to scan a designated merchant QR code or key in merchant code provided by the retailer. There is a time limit of 2 minutes to utilise the voucher. Do only click to utilise upon payment at the counter.  Any voucher that is not processed within the 2 minutes’ window is deemed as utilised.

The use of E-Vouchers from multiple accounts by any single individual in a single transaction is strictly prohibited. Any attempt by any single individual to use more than one account for a single transaction will be considered a violation of the membership terms and conditions. 

E-Voucher is non-transferrable. U-POPP may in its discretion reject the use of any UOL E-Voucher suspected of being cloned, stolen, fraudulently issued or used. In the event an account is terminated due to a violation of membership terms and conditions, unutilised E-Voucher value will not be refunded.

All redeemed E-Vouchers are only valid up to the stated date and strictly non-extendable. Upon expiry, E-Voucher will automatically be forfeited without compensation to the member.

Members are reminded to remove their stored-value card in the IU before exit, value of carpark rebates will be deducted automatically upon exit. Effective 5 May 2025 (Monday), the $5 cap on Car Park Rebates per exit at United Square and Velocity@Novena Square Car Park will be removed, i.e. any Car Park Rebates in your U-POPP account, including amounts exceeding $5, can be fully utilized to offset the total parking fee.

Car Park Rebates are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

Car Park Rebates will have an expiry date of 31 Dec and are strictly non-extendable.

Once redemption of POPPoints to Car Park Rebates are made, they are non-reversible and non-refundable.

Yes, you may have the same IU in different members' account but do note that the same IU can only be active in one member's account at any one point in time. If there are two accounts with the same active IU, the system will only register the first member’s IU details.
